lyrics
Please don’t take this badly,
But I love you madly,
When the dreams disperse, seeds of ash,
Settles on voiceless grounds,
Heaven’s embers, hell remembers,
I can be with you
Please don’t take this badly,
But I say this gladly,
Gazes of lost words hidden into eyes,
Bouncing off our good-byes,
Shouting softly passing through my lips,
I can be with you
Mais n’importe quoi,
Laisse-moi, laisse-moi
Le kozmos est noir,
Laisse-moi, laisse-moi
Please don’t take this badly,
But I hear you sadly,
From the darkening stars crying in my arms,
To the mist of our psalms,
Reads the truth that holds through our lies,
I can’t be with you

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
